This piece is from the late 70's and still in very good condition with no damage

The base (saucer) with "bumps" which allows plants to be set just above the water to provide optimum moisture control and prevent soggy roots"

The dome lid helps create a green house effect which enhances plants growth

The base measures 6.5 inches diameter

The domed lid stands 4.75 inches high

Lid is marked PH-7-D, Corning, NY, USA" and the saucer is marked PH-7-S, Corning USA
